Selection Criteria

Scholarship Amount per Head

Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • He/She achieves the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (cGPA) during the academic year(s); and,
     
  • He/She should complete at least 10 hours of community service organised by TWC or recognised non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) each academic year. For the list of NGOs, please visit https://www.swd.gov.hk/en/svcdesk/links/ngowebsite/index.html; and,
     
  • A recommendation letter from programme leader based on the student’s class performance, learning attitude, interpersonal skills with peers and self-motivation; and,
     
  • If the awardee(s) cannot meet the highest cGPA in the second academic year, the next best score student (with no other scholarships entitlement) will be awarded the scholarship.

Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood Education
  • He/She achieves the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (cGPA) during the academic year(s); and,
     
  • Under the circumstances that more than one student achieves the same cGPA and other criteria, priority will be given to the Higher Diploma graduates who have been awarded the Scholarship during their Higher Diploma Studies at TWC; and,
     
  • He/She should complete at least 10 hours of community service organised by TWC or recognised non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) each academic year. For the list of NGOs, please visit https://www.swd.gov.hk/en/svcdesk/links/ngowebsite/index.html; and,
     
  • A recommendation letter from programme leader based on the student’s class performance, learning attitude, interpersonal skills with peers and self-motivation; and,
