EduCare@TWC – Caring Through Education
Tung Wah College (TWC) is committed to nurturing socially responsible professionals to serve the community. As Hong Kong is still in the midst of the fifth wave of COVID-19 pandemic, the problem of healthcare manpower shortages becomes even more severe. The COVID-19 has had severe impact on the mental health and well-being of people. There is a great demand for community support services and professionals of all kinds in the society.
In response to the needs of the society, TWC will allocate specially an amount of HK$20 million to launch the "EduCare@TWC – Caring Through Education" campaign (EduCare@TWC) to offer Entrance Scholarships up to $60,000 to new students admitted to designated study programmes at TWC in the 2022/2023 academic year.
Entrance Scholarships for 2022/2023 Entry
In the 2022/2023 academic year, TWC will adjust the application requirements for the Entrance Scholarships. DSE students, who meet the minimum entry requirements and are successfully admitted to the designated programmes will receive the Entrance Scholarship.
All Higher Diploma/Associate Degree graduates who also enrolled to the designated bachelor degree programmes (applicable to: Year 1 or Year 3 entry), also will receive the same amount of Entrance Scholarship.
There is no need for them to make applications for the scholarship or go through selection process. An Entrance Scholarship ranges from $30,000 to $60,000 (Please refer the table below for details).
