Tung Wah College Global Student Ambassador - Community Service Team & Global Concern Team

Community Service Team:

The Community Service Team, under the Tung Wah College Global Student Ambassador Programme, aims to encourage students to get involved in volunteer service. Over the past years, the team has organised various community service initiatives to support a diverse range of beneficiaries, including the elderly, children, low-income families, individuals with intellectual disabilities, patients, people in recovery from mental illness, youth, and those affected by substance abuse, and even animals.

The Community Service Team encourages students to apply their professional knowledge and skills to serve the community. Team members are responsible for organising different types of community service activities and training workshops. Through participating in these initiatives, students can develop a positive attitude towards life, enhance their interpersonal and communication skills, and cultivate a stronger sense of social awareness.

Global Concern Team:

The Global Concern Team, under the Tung Wah College Global Student Ambassador Programme, aims to foster an atmosphere of global awareness and understanding among the campus community. The team focuses on addressing the most pressing issues affecting the world and Hong Kong.

Both the Community Service Team and Global Concern Team members will have the opportunity to earn ambassador service hours and community service hours through their training and voluntary service, whether on or off the college campus.
