What is Phishing?

Phishing is a common tactic used by cybercriminals to steal personal information and sensitive data. In a phishing attack, an attacker will impersonate a trusted source, such as system administrators, colleagues, or line managers, and ask for confidential information, e.g., login password.

  • Be aware to recognize phishing emails

  • Keep software up to date
  • Report it if you have doubts or concerns about the legitimacy of an email
