Library Support for Students with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities:Facilities1. Wheelchair Access
Both floors (5/F & 6/F) are wheelchair accessible. Please call the library hotline (3190-6650) before visit for special arrangement.2. Accessible Service Counter
The height of service counter is specially designed to suit wheelchair users.3. Priority Study Carrels
Two study carrels have been assigned as Priority Seating. Priority would be given to users with special educational needs or disabilities.4. Priority PC Workstations
Two PC workstations (available on both 5/F and 6/F) have been assigned as Priority Seating. Priority would be given to users with special educational needs or disabilities.5. Desktop magnifier
Desktop magnifier can magnify anything that fits on the viewing table, enables users with low vision to read. Priority would be given to users with special educational needs or disabilities.6. Restrooms
Both floors of the library are equipped with restroom for users with disabilities.Services1. Material Retrieval for Physically Challenged
Library staff are happy to retrieve library materials from shelves for physically challenged users. Please go to service counter on 5/F for assistance.2. Service Priority
Priority service is provided to users with special educational needs or disabilities at library service counters. Library staff are always happy to offer assistance.3. Personalized Service
Users with special needs can be accompanied by a personal helper to assist in their use of the Library. Customized tours can also be arranged based on individual’s needs. Please inform duty staff at service counter on 5/F or call the library hotline (3190-6650) accordingly.
