Precautionary Measures to Reduce the Spread of COVID-19 Pandemic

In order to reduce the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, please note library has taken the following precautionary measures:
- Wear a mask and disinfect hands when entering the library
All users are required to wear a mask in the library for their own and others’ protection. Users are also required to use hand sanitizer which placed on the turnstile before entering the library. Users who refuse to wear a mask will be asked to leave the library immediately.
- Maintain social distancing
All users are required to maintain social distancing when using the library. Discussion rooms and audio-visual rooms at 6/F will be limited to 4 users.
- Book sterilizer
A self-service ultraviolet (UV) book sterilizer is available in the library (located next to KPC Circulation Counter). Users are welcome to use the device to sterilize library books they want to borrow. Library staff will also sterilize all the returned items before re-shelving.
- Book drops
You may choose to return the borrowed library materials at the counter or via book drops located at Library Entrance, Foyer@G/F of KPC, Lobby of MKB and near the entrance of 1608A of KHC.Please note that our electronic resources can be accessed via TWC search round the clock anywhere. Users are encouraged to utilize these collections for their study and research.
